Sandy S. el-Hage

Sandy el-Hage has an M.A. in International Affairs from the Lebanese American University. Publications include a thesis paper entitled Transnational Activism in Lebanon’s Women’s Movement (2013) and an article in Al-Raida entitled , Nasawiya: A New Faction in the Women’s Movement (2013), on grassroots feminist organizing. On-going research interests include women’s issues, the crux between social movements and contentious politics, political structures, and reformist policies for civil and women’s rights.
