Marie-Noëlle AbiYaghi
Marie-Noëlle Abi Yaghi specialises in the sociology of contentious politics in contemporary Lebanon, with a focus on transformation of commitment and logics of disengagement, as well as gendered dynamics within social movements. She also focuses on (re)production processes and forms of social control, order, and discipline. AbiYaghi is currently the co-director of the CeSSRA and a lecturer at the Institute of Political Science at the Saint-Joseph University, Beirut.
Marie-Noëlle holds a PhD in Political Science from the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, France.
