Marianne Madoré

Marianne Madoré is an independent researcher based in Lebanon. Her research interests lie in the fields of urban ethnography and local governance. She recently graduated with a Masters in Urban Policies from Sciences Po University (Paris, France). Her dissertation focused on the settlement of Syrian refugees in the suburbs of Beirut since 2012. Previous collaborations include consultancy for the French Development Agency (AFD) and United Cities and Local Governments Middle East (UCLG-MEWA). She is currently teaching social sciences in a high-school in Sour (South Lebanon).
