Maha Shuayb

Maha Shuayb is the director of the Centre for Lebanese Studies. She is also a visiting fellow at the Faculty of Education at the University of Oxford and the president of the Lebanese Association for History. Maha joined CLS in 2008 as a senior research fellow at St Antony’s. In 2012 Maha became the director of the Centre. Maha has a BSc in Sociology from the Lebanese University and a PhD degree in Education from University of Cambridge. She was a visiting scholar at various universities including University of Cambridge and the American University of Beirut.
