Probe of Beirut port blast suspended pending a dismissal case filed at the Court of Cassation against Judge Bitar

The investigation into the Beirut blast was suspended after judge Tarek Bitar was formally notified of a dismissal case against him submitted by MP and former Interior Minister Nohad Machnouk.
وطنية - افاد مندوب "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" ان المحقق العدلي في جريمة إنفجار مرفأ بيروت القاضي طارق بيطار تبلغ دعوى الرد التي تقدم بها النائب نهاد المشنوق، واعتبارا من هذه اللحظة علق بيطار تحقيقاته وكل الإجراءات المتعلقة بملف انفجار مرفأ بيروت، الى ان تبت محكمة الاستئناف في بيروت برئاسة القاضي نسيب إيليا بقبول الدعوى أو رفضها.
