Parliament endorses 2020 budget in record session

Parliament Monday endorsed the 2020 state budget in around three hours - the fastest time ever - against the backdrop of popular pressure against the ruling class. Despite controversy surrounding the constitutionality of the Parliament session, MPs met, discussed and endorsed the budget within hours in what was criticized to be a rapid endorsement of the budget.
