Judge Bassem Nasser, head of the Executive Department in Tripoli ordered the executive seizure of BLOM Bank, and placed a hold on the coffers and money of the bank's four branches in Tripoli in al-Zahiriyya, Bolivar, Abi Samra and Azmi street. The judge’s decision comes after the bank failed to pay the deposit of its client, Mazen Ahmed Al-Mir, which amounted to $437,666. The judge excluded from his decision the seizure of safe deposit boxes that depositors rented to preserve private assets. He also requested the removal of a quantity of money from the seizure department to facilitate depositors' transactions and stock the ATM machines at the four branches.

لقى رئيس دائرة التنفيذ في طرابلس القاضي باسم نصر الحجز التنفيذي على بنك لبنان والمهجر، ووضع محضر الحجز على الخزنات والأموال العائدة للمصرف في فروعه الأربعة الموجودة في طرابلس، أي الزاهريّة والبوليفار وأبي سمرا وشارع عزمي. وقد جاء قرار القاضي على خلفيّة تخلّف المصرف عن إيفاء وديعة عميله مازن أحمد المير، البالغة 437,666 دولاراً. لكنّ القاضي استثنى من قراره خزنات الأمانات، أي تلك التي يقوم المودعون باستئجارها لحفظ الموجودات الخاصّة. كما طلب أيضاً إخراج كميّة من الأموال من دائرة الحجز لتيسير أموال المودعين وتعبئة ماكينات الصرّاف الآلي في الفروع الأربعة.
