Finance and Budget Committee approves the budgets of the presidency and prime minister

Parliament’s Finance and Budget Committee concluded the second session of the day Monday after approving the budgets of the presidency and prime minister.
The session, chaired by MP Ibrahim Kanaan, was held in order to review allocations to the presidency, the office of the prime minister and all administrations that fall under them.
The now-resigned Cabinet approved the draft 2020 state budget on Oct. 21, days after the start of nationwide.
