Cabinet drops a proposal to create voting megacenters for parliamentary elections in May 2022

The government dropped Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi’s proposal to implement megacenters for the upcoming parliamentary elections. The cabinet simultaneously demanded that the centers be implemented ahead of the 2026 elections, local media reported.
