The government decided to pay $35 million per month for the upcoming four months to buy medicine and medical supplies for cancer and chronic diseases patients, as well as infant milk and products to manufacture drugs.

وطنية - شكر وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور فراس الأبيض ل"مجلس الوزراء إقراره عددا من البنود الضرورية المتصلة بالقطاع الصحي، وفي مقدمها البند المتعلق بالطلب من مصرف لبنان سداد خمسة وثلاثين مليون دولار شهريا للأشهر الأربعة المقبلة لزوم شراء أدوية الأمراض المستعصية والمزمنة والسرطانية ومستلزمات طبية وحليب ومواد أولية لصناعة الدواء".
