Banque du Liban announces to fuel distributors that it will now subsidize only 90 percent of fuel costs

Gas prices are set to rise again after Lebanon’s central bank announced that fuel importers would need to cover 10 percent of fuel costs at the parallel market exchange rate (in “fresh” dollars), while the rest would be covered at a fixed rate of LL19,000.
