The Governor of North Lebanon Judge Ramzy Nohra issued a memo addressed the head of North Regional District’s gendarmerie, whereby he banned the sale and use of fireworks within the North Lebanon governorate, especially the city of Tripoli.
The decision came after several complaints were filed over the fireworks launched in Tripoli during the month of Ramadan, which could cause sometimes injuries and threaten the safety and comfort of the citizens.
