NNA - The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Branch issued on Friday the following statement: "A unit from the Information Branch successfully located the whereabouts of Sheikh Khaled Hoblous in Tripoli. And on Thursday the 9th of April at 22.25 an Information Branch patrol in the locality of Bab Ramel in Tripoli arrested Hoblous while in his Kia Picanto car. The car was driven by the so-called Amir al-Kurdi. Soon after, a second vehicle identified as an Opel, with two passengers inside, appeared and opened fire at the patrol, injuring two members. The patrol retaliated, killing said two men, and arrested both Hoblous and Kurdi. Investigations revealed that the two dead criminals were Ousama Mansour and Ahmad Al Nazer. Mansour had an explosive belt on him, which a military expert successfully dismantled.
