Description:
Between 2005 and 2006, Amel worked in partnership with local NGOs on the Former Detainees Rehabilitation Project, which aimed to provide psychosocial support to former detainees. It was carried out in the context of a post-conflict, socio-economic rehabilitation programme for the south. The objective was to contribute to the social and economic integration of over 2000 former detainees and their families.
