The body of a woman was found Friday inside a bag in Dikwaneh with her hands tied, a security source told The Daily Star.
The woman, estimated to be in her mid-to-late 30s, was black and not a Lebanese national, the source said.
The official cause of death has not yet been determined, but the forensic doctor examining the body noted a blow on the head and said the victim was likely strangled.
Security authorities immediately arrived to the scene and initiated an investigation.
