A Syrian boy was injured after accidentally setting off a land mine on the outskirts of east Lebanon’s Baalbeck, the state-run National News Agency reported Sunday. Abdel-Fattah Khaled al-Karkour, born in 2008, was lightly injured and taken to hospital. He was later discharged. The NNA said the explosive was likely left behind by extremist group Daesh (ISIS) during an Army offensive last summer along the Lebanese-Syrian border.
