A Syrian and three Lebanese were detained overnight for their alleged links to militant groups in raids conducted by the General Security in northern Lebanon.
A security source told The Daily Star Saturday that the General Security staged four night raids in the districts of Minyeh and Dinnieh and the town of Deir Ammar.
Three Lebanese from the Masri family and a Syrian were arrested during the operation.
Preliminary reports said that the suspects allegedly confessed to preparing explosive belts to conduct acts of terror.
It is not clear to which militant group the four men belong.
