A man facilitating prostitution and four prostitutes were arrested, the Internal Security Forces announced. Lebanese national identified as B.A., born in 1989 and known as Batrousa, was arrested when a force from the Anti-Trafficking Unit raided his house in Jbeil’s Halat.

The unit also raided a hotel in Kesrouan’s Jounieh where the four Syrian national women were working in prostitution for Batrousa’s benefit. Batrousa was previously detained last year, along with another defendant, on human trafficking charges. They were believed at the time to be responsible for running a prostitution delivery service from an office in Safra, Kesrouan district.
