On 17 Nov 16, four armed men fled with a large amount of cash following a bank robbery in Beirut’s southern suburbs. The four gunmen, wearing masks and black attire, robbed a Banque Libano-Francaise branch in the Mreijeh area at gunpoint at around 0900hrs. The men stole around $147,000 after they threatened the bank’s employees and customers. They left in a black Range Rover. Internal Security Forces arrived quickly to the scene to inspect surveillance footage inside and outside the bank.
