Ain el-Hilweh resident arrested for militant links

A resident of the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian camp in south Lebanon was arrested by State Security for fighting alongside extremist groups. During interrogation, the suspect, B.A., confessed to having pledged allegiance to both Daesh (ISIS) and the Jabhat Fatah al-Sham – formerly known as the Nusra Front. He also revealed he had participated in combat on behalf of the militant groups and admitted to shooting inside the camp.
