Description: 
Workers of the Lafarge Jordan Cement Company staged a sit-in against the salary deduction: the company withdrew five days of salary as workers are striking and not working. Workers continue their strike to protest against the restructuring plan. The restructuring plan intends to reduce expenses at the expense of workers by referring more than 70 workers to early retirement, depriving retirees of health insurance, and removing end-of-service benefits, solidarity funds, and grants for employees' children's schooling.
