Living Conditions of Households 2004

The National Survey of Household Living Conditions (The Multipurpose survey) provides a statistical database vital for the setting forth of national policies in various sectors. This database forms a basis for the studying and identification of: • The demographic and social characteristics of households and their individuals. • The characteristics of the individuals’ economic activity. • The characteristics of the household and the conditions of dwellings. • Poverty lines and the characteristics of the poor. • The household’s budget, income and expenditure details.

هذا التقرير قائم على المسح العنقودي متعدد المؤشرات الذي أجرته إدارة الإحصاء المركزي في لبنان في العام 2009. يقدم المسح بيانات قيمة عن اوضاع النساء و الاطفال في لبنان، و قد صمم في معظمه، على أساس الحاجة إلى رصد التقدم نحو تحقيق الاهداف التي وضعتها أحدث الاتفاقيات الدولية: إعلان الالفية الذي وقعت عليه جميع الدول الأعضاء في الامم المتحدة البالغ عددها 191 دولة، في سبتمبر عام 2000؛ وخطة عمل "عالم جدير بالاطفال" التي وقعت عليها 189 دولة من أعضاء الامم المتحدة في جلسة الامم المتحدة الخاصة حول الاطفال التي عقدت في مايو (أيار) من عام 2002.

Compendium Statistique National sur les Statistiques de l’Environnement au Liban 2006

Dans le cadre du Projet MEDSTAT Environnement, l’Administration Centrale de la Statistique (ACS) – le point focal des statistiques en général et des statistiques environnementales en particulier – élabore le présent compendium. L’objectif consiste à créer un système d’information statistique sur l’environnement au sein de l’ACS. La rédaction de ce document se fait dans une optique de développement durable tout en se basant sur des références internationales et nationales.

Foreign Trade in Goods for Lebanon - Quarter 2, 2012

The value of the Lebanese imports of goods in quarter two Q2 year 2012 was 7511 billion LBP. This was 1835 billion LBP i.e 19.6% lower than imports in previous Q1 of the same year 2012, and 310 billion LBP, i.e 4.3% increase comparing to the same quarter Q2 of the previous year 2011. Imports of petroleum products were the main contribute to this change, with a value of 2154 billion LBP lower than Q1 of the same year, and 387 increase since the same quarter Q2 of the previous year.

Foreign Trade in Goods for Lebanon - Quarter 1, 2012

The value of Lebanese imports of goods in Quarter Q1 year 2012 was 9346 billion LBP. This was 518 billion LBP, 5.9% higher than imports in Q4 of previous year 2011, and 2162 billion LBP, i.e. 30% increase comparing to the same Quarter Q1 of year 2011. Imports of petroleum products were the main contributor to this change, with a value of 789 billion LBP higher than Q4 of the year 2011, and 1827 billion LBP increase since the same quarter Q1 of the last year.

Foreign Trade in Goods for Lebanon - Quarter 4, 2011

The value of exports from Lebanon in Quarter 4 2011, was LBP 2,052 billion. This was LBP 72 billion, 3.4%, lower than exports in Q3 2011 and LBP 148 billion, 6.7%, lower than exports in the same quarter last year. Export of Machinery and Equipment was down in value by LBP 350 billion from the same quarter last year but up by LBP 62 billion from last quarter. In contrast, the export of Precious Metal rose in value by LBP 126 billion from the same quarter last year but fell by LBP 101 billion from last quarter. The value of imports to Lebanon in Quarter 4 2011, was LBP 8,828 billion.

This package includes statistics put together by the Lebanese Central Administration of Statistics in the year 2010, that look at key indicators and figures regarding: agriculture, construction permits, financial sector with the source of data being the Central Bank of Lebanon, financial sector with the source of data being MIDCLEAR (the Custodian and Clearing Center of financial instruments for Lebanon and the Middle East), habitat, industry, public finance, real-estate, residents, tourism, and transport.

This package includes statistics put together by the Lebanese Central Administration of Statistics in the year 2008, that look at key indicators and figures regarding: agriculture, business, real-estate establishments & entrepreneurship, education, environment, finance, habitat, health, industry, insurance and reinsurance, professional activities, public finance, public insurance, residents, tourism, trade, transport and posts.
